Coolblue will also deliver white goods from Apeldoorn. From the new depot, the online retailer will deliver large parcels to customers in Gelderland and Overijssel using its own delivery service CoolblueBezorgt.
In addition to white goods, Coolblue delivers other large orders, such as televisions, with CoolblueBezorgt. By delivering these appliances itself, etailer hopes to have more control over the last mile.
The first ten blue buses of Coolblue left from the depot in Apeldoorn last week. Coolblue is still looking for new delivery drivers for the new location. Eventually, 100 delivery drivers will start work.
Coolblue's new regional depot brings the tally to six. The etailer already has depots in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Tilburg and Groningen.
