CTS GROUP has joined AZ Alkmaar's team of strategic partners. The specialist in European distribution and logistics from Nieuw-Vennep was previously a sponsor and has now expanded that partnership.
CTS GROUP had been a sponsor of the football club since last season. The logistics provider signed for one season, with an option for two more years.
"We have many customers in North Holland," explains managing director Edwin Beentjes in a press release. "The combination of increasing brand awareness in the region and creating an opportunity where we can get to know our business contacts better in an informal setting works well. And many of our customers like football."
AZ calls the addition of a distribution specialist to its Strategic Partners team "an enrichment". "It's great to see that the past year has been so successful from both sides that CTS has now advanced to strategic partner," says AZ director Robert Eenhoorn.
