DHL is expanding its partnership with retail giant Amazon. The courier company delivers groceries for Amazon Fresh in Germany.

AmazonFresh was launched in Berlin in April. The grocery service is to be rolled out to the rest of Germany in the coming period. The choice of DHL does not come as a surprise. Amazon was already working with the company for parcel delivery. In addition, DHL has experience in delivering food products. For instance, it has been delivering the fresh products of German online supermarket Allyouneedfresh, which is owned by parent company Deutsche Post, for years.

Amazon is steadily rolling out its grocery delivery service in Europe. In 2015, it did Britain, followed by France and Italy.
