After teaming up with Belgium's bpost, DHL Parcel has now also come to an agreement with POST Luxembourg. Cross-border parcel transport to and from the Benelux country becomes more accessible for web shops and faster for consumers.

Simplify international shipments

The collaboration makes POST Luxembourg the official partner of Parcel Connect in Luxembourg. Parcel Connect is the name of the standardised European parcel service introduced by DHL Parcel Europe in 2014. For this service, DHL Parcel collaborates with parties across Europe.

Initially, the cooperation only covers parcel imports (from Europe to Luxembourg). The delivery time to consumers in Luxembourg will be reduced, consumers will receive accurate information about the delivery time by e-mail or SMS and can adjust it online. Parcel Connect also offers them the option of having returns collected for international online shops.

'The Benelux Deliverymen'

With the latest collaboration, DHL Parcel Europe is one step closer to conquering the Benelux. Last week it was announced that bpost and DHL Parcel are joining forces. Under the banner 'The Benelux Delivers', DHL and bpost aim to further stimulate crossborder e-commerce. Belgian consumers who place an order with a Dutch webshop in the evening will have their order delivered the next day, and vice versa.
