Just before the turn of the year, logistics
service provider Speksnijder Logistiek was declared bankrupt. Thanks to a takeover by
Simon Loos, Peter Appel and Kivits, the Hazerswoude-based company is now making a
fresh start after all.
Speksnijder Logistics stated that it had been
suffered from changing customer requirements, new legislation and regulations, a
high level of sick leave and the bankruptcy of a company that owed
to the company. Operations at Speksnijder Logistics in Hazerswoude are currently
. “That’s essential to make a fresh start possible,” said the liquidator
Jan Dorrepaal in the Leidsch Dagblad.
The three companies will not take over all of
of Speksnijder Logistics. Thanks to this partial takeover, around
half of the staff will be able to remain in their posts. The logistics service provider’s office
at the International Trade Centre business park is closing. The question is therefore whether
the staff are willing to commute to one of the branches of the three companies
. These are all based in Brabant. The 85 lorries
belonging to Speksnijder Logistics will be sold or partially taken over by the
companies.
