Plein.nl is moving to a new distribution centre next month. The location will offer the grooming webshop three times the capacity of its current premises.
The new premises are in Moerdijk, three minutes from the drugstore's current distribution centre. It has an area of 6,200 square metres and a height of 12 metres.
With this, Plein.nl triples its capacity. This is necessary, as the online shop saw the number of online orders more than double in the past year. Moreover, the range was expanded by more than 10,000 products.
Plein.nl will move into the new location in June. This building offers the possibility to grow to 30,000 square metres in time. During the move, Plein.nl will replace its current packing machines with tailor-made ones. In doing so, it aims to use fewer trucks and reduce CO2 emissions.
