Flinders has been voted Logistical Webshop of the Year. The designer furniture shop beat fellow finalist KPN at the eCommerce Live! event on 30 May.

"Flinders sees logistics as a marketing tool. This is reflected in its strong growth," was the jury's verdict. With an extensive range of 25,000 products, the furniture specialist delivers a top logistical performance, according to the jury. Besides an online shop, the furniture retailer has a physical shop, two cafés and sells via bol.com and De Bijenkorf. All orders have been processed in a central warehouse in Amsterdam since 2017. Using smart software, Flinders delivers 85 per cent of orders from stock, an unusual feat in furniture logistics.

"For us, it is a huge crowning achievement for all the investments we have made in logistics," operational director Oscar Diele commented during the award ceremony.

The Logistic Webshop of the Year election was organised for the seventh time. During the previous edition in 2016 Omoda walked away with the prize. The retailer scored with the jury by stretching the cut-off time, offering in-store pick-up points and the ability to choose a delivery time.
