BYD Trucks Europe now has a comprehensive fleet management solution across Europe, thanks to Geotab's end-to-end connectivity solution that helps ensure data privacy and security within the region.
BYD's imported electric trucks in Europe will be equipped with Geotab's advanced telematics hardware, which stores numerous vehicle data. BYD Trucks Europe will use this data, with customer consent, to improve the quality, maintenance and service management of the vehicles. The aim is to minimise both planned and unplanned downtime in this way. In addition, BYD Trucks Europe will also offer Geotab's fleet telematics services to its customers, giving transport companies access to valuable insights into their vehicle data to increase fleet efficiency, operations, cost management and sustainability.
