Logistics service provider will handle the procurement, storage and delivery of products for 38 hotels and restaurants of hotel chain Van der Valk.

The two companies have been working together since 2012, serving around eighteen restaurants.
Since March, this number has expanded to nearly fifty outlets across three
countries. “Van der Valk would like to keep the procurement of its products separate from our
services. And that is exactly how we like to work together,” says Olav
Gribnau, director at HAVI. “The client makes its own arrangements with the
suppliers; we then procure them in accordance with those prices and terms.
We charge separately for our storage and distribution services.”

HAVI supports businesses with the procurement, storage and delivery of food and
non-food products. Earlier this year, the company moved into a new
distribution centre in Barendrecht, with a view to future growth. A wise choice, as it now turns out. Recently, it also entered into partnerships with KFC and Kwalitaria. “We’ve already
achieved that growth in just a few months,” said Gribnau. The distribution centre covers an area of 6,500 square metres. In addition to this distribution centre, HAVI has two further sites in the Benelux – in Amersfoort and Olen (Belgium) – with floor areas of 10,000 and 9,500 square metres respectively.
