Supermarket chain PLUS and logistics service provider Hollander Barendrecht have
extended their partnership. Hollander will remain
PLUS’s logistics partner for fresh and chilled products.
The two companies have been doing business with
each other, and that partnership has now been extended. In total, PLUS has 260 supermarkets
which are supplied with fresh and chilled products by Hollander.
’s growthPLUS has grown in recent years, and this requires
Hollander to grow alongside it and strive to improve its
operational logistics processes. The companies now wish to take the next step
towards maximising supply chain management. “In practice, this means that Hollander, in
collaboration with PLUS, will strive to organise the supply chain as efficiently as possible,
the aim of achieving the lowest costs and maximum quality/shelf life for the
consumer”, the company explains on its website.
