Companies that want to test whether their warehouse is really as safe as thought can register for the fifteenth edition of Safest Warehouse Prize. Both small (25 employees or less) and large warehouses (more than 25 employees) stand a chance of winning gold, silver or bronze.
Any company that wants an insight into warehouse safety can participate by filling in the registration form before 1 July 2021. After an initial selection based on the forms received, an inspector will visit the remaining warehouses in July or August.
Based on the inspection report, the six-member jury led by Prof.dr.ir. René de Koster decides which warehouses will be nominated. After extensive jury visits in autumn 2021, the jury will decide which warehouses deserve the gold, silver or bronze predicate.
The Safest Warehouse Prize was established by BMWT, evofenedex and Tempo-Team to boost safety in logistics. Participating warehouses receive feedback with the inspection report and the jury report to further improve safety. In addition, a cash prize is linked to the award (from 500 to 1,000 euros), intended to further strengthen the safety culture in the warehouse.
