The annual logistics trade fair CSCO Forum and 3PL Summit will be held in Venlo this year. This international, multi-day networking and knowledge event is intended for major international logistics service providers. Some 300 participants will come to Venlo to network, discuss the latest developments and take part in workshops. Organiser EFT (eyefortransport) will also host meetings where logistics entrepreneurs can connect with international decision-makers.
Logistics hub
Last year, the trade fair was held in Amsterdam, and before that in cities such as London, Brussels, Dubai and Singapore. Venlo has been chosen this year because it is considered the logistics hub of the Netherlands. “Venlo-Venray has major European ambitions. That makes the region extremely interesting for our participants.”
A well-kept secret
Stephan Satijn, Venlo’s Councillor for Economic Affairs and Knowledge Infrastructure, describes it as a ‘boost’ for logistics companies. “For far too long, this region has been regarded as a well-kept secret,” says Satijn. The CSCO Forum and 3PL Summit will be held in October 2015 at De Maaspoort in Venlo.
