Jungheinrich has seen its order book grow by as much as 15 per cent in the first quarter of this year. Net sales and production volume were also on the rise. With the quarterly results, the forklift manufacturer is on track for 2017.
Jungheinrich's net sales rose by 19 per cent, while production volume increased by 21 per cent compared to a year earlier. Based on those figures, Jungheinrich maintains its forecast for 2017: net sales of 3.4 billion euros (up from 3.3 billion euros in 2016) and growth in gross profit (EBIT) to 260 million euros (up from 250 million euros a year earlier). "The first three months of 2017 have shown that we are on track and maintaining our growth," said Volker Hues, cfo at Jungheinrich. "The volume of orders received and the current order book as a whole vote us positively for the whole of 2017."
