Logistica and IFOY Award titleholders join forces. Jungheinrich, Still, UniCarriers and ProGlove will showcase their award-winning innovations at the trade fair in Utrecht from 5 to 7 November.
The prestigious International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award is presented annually to suppliers who have achieved worldwide acclaim for their intralogistics products and solutions. At the last edition in Vienna, the winners included Jungheinrich, Still, UniCarriers and ProGlove.
From 5 to 7 November, these suppliers will show their award-winning innovations at the Netherlands' largest logistics stage: Logistica. In hall 4, the hall for Material Handling and Internal Transport, a special IFOY location will be set up where visitors can experience the applications live.
An overview of the winners present and their solutions:
The reach truck from Jungheinrich

Jungheinrich's ETV 216i reach truck was awarded the most innovative product in the Warehouse Truck category. This is the first reach truck with a fully integrated lithium-ion battery, representing a fundamental change to the reach truck, as lithium-ion batteries are lighter and smaller than lead-acid batteries, allowing for redesign of the unit.
The AGV from Still

Still won over other AGVs and intralogistics robots with the Liftrunner. This AGV tractor automates not only the transport of loads, but also loading and unloading at transfer stations. A combination that was praised by the judges. As was the fact that this cost-effective solution is easily scalable.
UniCarriers' forklift truck

The award for most innovative forklift truck went to UniCarriers with the TX 3 3-wheel with a load capacity of 1.6 tonnes. The judges praised UniCarriers' forklift truck for its combination of improved ergonomics, good visibility, low energy consumption and a user-friendly electric steering system.
The smart glove from ProGlove

Startup ProGlove won the awards with its eponymous solution. This smart glove can scan barcodes and 2D codes. Technologically, the principle of the scanner with camera has been known for some time, but the miniaturised version in a robust housing was judged by the jury to be particularly clever.
