The logistics sector is gaining
a new national magazine. KennisDC Logistiek has recently launched a new
magazine called Logistiek+. The first issue was presented during
the ‘Big Data Small World’ conference.
In a press release, the magazine’s publishers say
they are enthusiastic about the new publication. “The six Logistics Knowledge Centres, each
its own innovative logistics themes, together cover the whole of the Netherlands. With their
expertise, they help logistics companies in the region to plan
and organise – the foundation of logistics – and they support universities of applied sciences so that
they can ‘produce’ more capable students who are well-prepared for the
logistics industry.”
According to its creators, Logistiek+ is a
magazine with a subtle hint at a deeper level of analysis through which the
Knowledge Centres to further advance the logistics sector through high-quality innovation. “The
magazine not only provides a platform for the knowledge developed by lecturers and
lecturer-researchers develop, but also for the knowledge generated by student researchers
and partners of the Knowledge DCs from the business and research communities
develop. “
The magazine will be available from April 2016 and will be published twice a
year. In addition to the printed version, there will also be online publications
online.
