Medicine wholesaler Brocacef has substantially expanded its distribution centre in Eindhoven. The new building, which was completed two months ahead of schedule despite the corona crisis, doubles capacity.

Construction of a new section to the existing distribution centre in Eindhoven started in mid-2019. Brocacef recently commissioned the 8,500-square-metre extension. Part of the distribution centre is used as bulk storage for the wholesaler. The medicine wholesaler's transport department has also moved to Eindhoven. This provides all operations under one roof.

In the Eindhoven distribution centre, Brocacef has implemented sustainable applications to grow to a higher level of sustainability. For example, the building is equipped with solar panels and the new building is gas-free. In addition, the completed new building section is equipped with smart LED lighting and air heating. Mechanical doors further contribute to cost savings and should reduce the burden on the environment.
