Jungheinrich has appointed Lars Brzoska as its new CEO. He takes over from Hans-Georg Frey, who has been at the helm of the intralogistics specialist for the past 12 years.

More than a year ago, Jungheinrich announced plans for a change in the board to ensure a smooth handover, and Brzoska officially started as Chairman of the Board on 1 September.

In recent years, Brzoska was responsible for Marketing & Sales and Technology at Jungheinrich. The new CEO will remain responsible for Technology until Sabine Neuß assumes that role on 1 January 2020.

Under the leadership of the new CEO, Jungheinrich is fully committed to technology. "Electric mobility, digitalisation and automation are important pillars in the intralogistics industry," said Brzoska. "Together with the team, we will ensure that our leadership role is further expanded and new market potential is tapped. Looking to the future, we want to offer leading products and solutions that are of significant value to our customers. That is why we are betting big on the technologies that make a difference, such as lithium-ion batteries and digital solutions."
