Truck drivers travelling through Belgium on Thursday may encounter road blockades. Following the French, Belgian farmers are now also rebelling against the price of milk and pork. Tractors will block roads on Thursday.

French and Belgian farmers are currently selling their produce at a loss. Actions have therefore been taking place in France for days. The Federation of Livestock Growers and Farmers (FUGEA) has also called on farmers in Belgium to protest, so those wishing to travel to the South should expect a long journey time. You should at least try to avoid these roads in Belgium:

- The actions start at 9am in East Flanders. There, traffic on the E17 in particular will be shut down. The motorway will not be blocked in the process.

- Protests will take place at 10am in Eke, a borough of Nazareth, and farmers are expected in Aalst at around 2pm.

- Around 10 a.m., farmers will also block the town of Genk in Limburg. In West Flanders, farmers will hold demonstrations in Diksmuide, in Ypres and in Lichtervelde, along the E403 motorway, between 12 noon and 12.30 p.m. Antwerp remains accessible as usual for the time being.
