Paazl has received several million investment money from Laren-based 5sqare. Paazl, supplier of logistics technology for online retailers, wants to expand abroad with the new capital.

Paazl develops software that links webshops and carriers. This allows webshops to offer various logistics options from carriers. The company does that for Blokker, Omoda, Scotch & Soda and Suitsupply, among others. Paazl thinks the technology could come in handy for shops that trade internationally and therefore already work with different international shippers.

In a press release, ceo Bernard Schreiner says that with 5square's investment, the company has the financial clout to expand. "On our own, we have achieved continuous double-digit growth in recent years, but our ambitions reach further. E-commerce is rapidly making the world a smaller place, and we at Paazl would like to contribute to that in our own way." Paazl wants to focus first and foremost on further expanding its transport offering in Europe, Asia and North America. "Connectivity with other software is also high on the agenda. From popular e-commerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud and SAP Hybris to widely used WMS and ERP software. Beyond this, the focus is on attracting the right mix of talent and experience within our growing organisation."
