Salesupply is opening a new fulfilment location in Verona, Italy. The company, which focuses on fulfilment and customer care for players in e-commerce, sees Italy as a key growth market.

With a branch in Italy, Salesupply serves retailers looking to sell crossborder. Thanks to a local logistics hub, they benefit from fast shipping and low shipping costs, according to the fulfilment company.

The Verona location is close to one of the major ports and one of Europe's largest intermodal terminals: Interporto Verona. From Verona, Salesupply can expand in the future with local warehouses throughout Italy. A total of 80,000 square metres of warehouse space is thus available.

Italy as a growth market

Salesupply sees Italy as a key growth market in e-commerce. Annual growth rates are above 10 per cent. "90 per cent of Italian e-commerce orders come from the prosperous north and centre of Italy. With the logistics hub in Verona, these customers can be reached within 24 hours," said Dagmar Sporck, Country Manager Salesupply Italy.

Logistics hub London

Salesupply's logistics hubs include the Netherlands, Germany, the US and China. Recently, it also started operating in the UK; with the Brexit looming, local storage of stock should provide a solution for retailers. From a logistics hub in London, Salesupply handles stock, the logistics process and delivery for (online) retailers.
