Research institute TNO wants to map social innovation in logistics. The institute is calling on logistics companies working on, or planning to work on, social innovation to take part in a survey.
"Innovation in logistics may involve innovations related to the so-called roadmaps in logistics. These include things like 'synchromodal', 'service logistics' and 'supply chain finance'." TNO's central approach here is: "how are employees involved in renewal and innovation, thereby increasing the innovative capacity of the company?"
Actively involving employees
TNO is looking for logistics companies that want to innovate and actively involve their employees. Companies that have already developed or implemented innovation with employees are also invited to participate. "Innovation may involve both developing innovations and implementing renewal/innovation; and it may involve technology, organisational forms, new products and services."
Look behind the scenes
TNO emphasises that companies can also benefit from this research. The institute constructively monitors the innovation process, provides feedback and allows technical specialists to shed light on the process. In addition, companies can learn from each other by taking a look behind the scenes.
