Transport companies Hartman Expeditie and Brinkman Trans Holland merge. From 1 January, all employees and activities will be housed in a new office of Hartman Expeditie in Nieuw-Amsterdam.

Both companies focus on transporting vegetables, fruit, plants and flowers, with a focus on Scandinavia. Hartman is mainly active in the Danish market, while Brinkman focuses on the Swedish market. Shipments from the Netherlands can be merged into efficient rides to Scandinavia as a result of the merger. Intensive cooperation is also possible in the field of return cargo.

The two companies will continue to operate under their own brand. Brinkman Trans Holland is moving its operations from Emmen to Nieuw-Amsterdam, where Hartman Expeditie has been based for several years.

"Michael Brinkman and I have known each other for years and our logistics activities are seamlessly aligned," said Ronald Hartman of Hartman Expeditie. "At the moment, a lot is happening in our sector and cooperation and/or scaling up is important to continue serving our customers in a good and responsible way. The cooperation with Brinkman Trans Holland guarantees a bright and successful future for both companies."
