The VNCW, the association for the interests of chemical logistics, may want to become internationally active. Through a survey of warehouse keepers, it gauges the need for international guidelines.

The VNCW is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year by looking beyond its national borders. The association says it still has a lot of potential in the Netherlands. Nevertheless, it wants to investigate whether an international association is among the possibilities and whether there is a need for one.

"It has been observed that logistics and therefore also chemical logistics is increasingly an activity of large service providers. When it comes to chemistry logistics, rule-making takes place mainly at a national level. There is more need for international guidelines and alignment of rules at an international level," states the VCNW in a press release.
