Logistics service provider Vos Logistics has taken over the activities of family company Gebroeders Joosten Nederweert. In addition to taking over the towing and trailed equipment, all 25 employees will also join Vos Logistics.
Joosten brothers' activities mainly include national distribution and transport of construction-related products for a number of international companies as well as warehousing.
Wim Roelofsen, Business Unit Manager Vos Logistics Breukelen: " The acquisition of these activities fits perfectly with an increasing demand from our customers and our service portfolio: large volume transport and distribution using mobile warehouses (swap bodies), allowing processes at our customers and our customers' customers to continue uninterrupted. Gebroeders Joosten's stable customer base partly matches that of Vos Logistics Breukelen, putting us in an immediate position to further improve services."
The acquisition is carried out through an asset transaction. The towing and towed equipment, such as large-volume combi trailers with swap bodies, will be taken over. All employees and customers also go with it. Joosten Brothers speaks of a "next phase of further growth and professionalisation" now that the company is owned by Vos Logistics. "At the same time, continuity is guaranteed and the succession issue is appropriately provided for."
