Department store chain Hudson's Bay will open its first branch in Amsterdam this month. The Canadian concern outsources logistics to carrier and distributor SNEL Shared Logistics.
Woerden-based SNEL Shared Logistics will supply all future Hudson's Bay stores in the Netherlands. Still this quarter, the department store chain plans to open ten branches in our country. Hudson's Bay branches will be supplied seven days a week, before and after shop opening hours.
Hudson's Bay's logistics centre is in Mijdrecht, in the former Blokker distribution centre. The DC has an area of 55 thousand square metres, including office space. SNEL, which has space experience in retail logistics, hired additional drivers for the mega-order and expanded its fleet.
