The jury of the Logistic Manager of the Year and Young Logistics Talent election has finished assessing and discussing the entries. The finalists are known.
The three candidates for the title of Logistics Manager of the Year are:
- Hugo van Goor, DC manager NL/DE Cluster, Schneider Electric
- Joris Keizers, Group Operations Manager, Veco B.V.
- Olaf Vreeburg, Head of Operations/Supply Chain, HelloFresh Benelux
Jury chairman René de Koster: "These finalists are a good example of the contemporary logistics manager. Diverse backgrounds and diverse industries thus come together on the Logistic Manager of the Year podium. It underlines once again how broad and complex the profession is."
The jury has also selected the young talents who applied for the election. "Passion, knowledge and vision, are the ingredients we look for in the talents," De Koster said. During the event on 11 April, the following finalists will present themselves:
- Tijs van Driel, co-owner, Save Your Package
- Jeroen Provoost, asset manager, Defence (Yacht)
- Lennart Stachowitz, project manager, Ingram Micro (bol.com)
Winners
The winners of the title Logistic Manager of the Year and Young Logistics Talent will be announced during the knowledge and networking event on 11 April next in the Jaarbeurs. The jury will ultimately decide who the winner of Logistic Manager of the Year will be. For the talents, the visitors to the event will help determine the winner. The public votes and the jury verdict together make up the final result. All finalists contribute to the programme of the event.
