Trade fairs ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next from 5 to 7 November 2024 in Utrecht
Utrecht, 13 June 2024 - From 5 to 7 November 2024, the ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next trade fairs will take place in Royal Jaarbeurs. The trade fairs are the meeting place for technological innovation aimed at making logistics processes increasingly efficient. The sector faces the challenge of innovating together for competitive, safe and emission-free logistics. As an organisation, how do you keep a grip on these logistics challenges, now and in the future? With the theme 'The Future Starts Here', more than 300 exhibitors, 200 speakers and 10 knowledge institutions answer this question. They will show their innovations, new techniques and solutions during ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next.
Chain cooperation is the key to success
More than ever, the entire logistics chain connects during ICT&Logistics and Logistica Next. Corien den Ouden, exhibition manager Royal Jaarbeurs: "The coming together of the entire sector at these exhibitions shows that cooperation is an indispensable ingredient for survival in a turbulent and complex logistics world and that you can make an impact especially if you do it together. Chain cooperation is the key to success. That starts at these trade fairs."
Resilient and sustainable freight transport in the future
Logistics Netherlands is working hard to make logistics more efficient, sustainable and future-proof. Many companies are betting on digital transformation processes. Tobia Potters, senior advisor electronic Fright Transport Information (eFTI): "The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) supports the digital transition as a precondition for resilient and sustainable freight transport in the future. IenW is present at the fair to discuss this with visitors and listen to their experiences so that together we can shape this transition."
Award ceremony Logistica Award 2024
Established entrepreneurs and start-ups are invited to enter the Logistica Award 2024, organised by the Logistica Foundation. Prof Dr René de Koster, chairman and jury member Logistica Awards: "The Logistica Award is important for both providers of logistics solutions to draw attention to new developments and for users of those solutions to gain insight into those new developments. Participants in the award can be established companies, but also start-ups with new ideas." The jury is particularly looking at the latest developments in the field of internal logistics with Dutch input. "Developments for example in the field of robotisation, AI, Internet of Things applications and software. Or developments in more traditional areas such as safety, storage, transport, packaging, ergonomics, energy consumption, process monitoring and sustainability. We like to be surprised with exciting entries. Registration for the Logistica Award 2024 is possible until next Saturday, 15 June," says De Koster.
