Jobseekers were frequently looking for logistics jobs in the first half of this year. The reason: in the logistics sector, the chances of finding a job are significant.
Figures from recruitment site Monsterboard.nl show that jobseekers mainly searched for jobs in administration, logistics or sales. IT and accounting also made it into the top five.
Job chances are high
Jobseekers are said to have excellent knowledge of where their opportunities lie. "There are huge staff shortages in logistics and IT," explains marketing director Sander de Bruijn. "The fact that these sectors both feature in the top five shows that jobseekers have an excellent knowledge of which industries offer the best job opportunities."
Challenge for employers
Monsterboard expects the scarcity in IT, sales and logistics to only increase. De Bruijn: "Those who are ready for a new challenge after the summer will probably not have to look long for a new job. But there are also plenty of opportunities for the large group of starters who will soon enter the job market. For employers, on the other hand, the challenge of finding new employees is getting bigger and bigger."
