Today's digital transformation offers the logistics sector unprecedented opportunities. Through connections between suppliers, customers, people and systems, processes are realised and optimised. On 7 and 8 November, trade fair ICT & Logistiek will therefore be entirely dedicated to Connected Logistics.

On the exhibition floor of ICT & Logistiek, more than 140 exhibitors will show (ICT) solutions needed to set up logistics processes efficiently. Five sub-themes will be fleshed out within the Connected Logistics theme: Big Data & Analytics, Sales & Operations Planning, Transport & Distribution, Warehouse Automation and Supply Chain Management.

'ICT & Logistics is experiencing qualitative growth'

"ICT & Logistics is bigger than ever this year," says brand manager Martijn de Weerd. "This cannot be otherwise now that developments in the sector are happening at a rapid pace. The trade fair is experiencing qualitative growth, by broadening its offer and increasing the number of exhibitors."

The trade fair in Utrecht has a packed programme of content, with no less than 64 hours of knowledge transfer in 2 days, spread over 8 exhibition theatres. "KennisDC Logistiek, iShare and various exhibitors are organising sessions with a wide range of topics: from blockchain to social innovation in logistics."

TLN and AIM tours

TLN and AIM are organising daily tours to introduce visitors to well-known and new applications in the sector in a short period of time. The TLN tour takes visitors through a selection of suppliers of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Fleet Management Systems (FMS), while the AIM tour shows visitors a selection of suppliers of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and AUTO-ID.

Supply Chain Arena

Special attention will be paid to the topic of Supply Chain Management. In the so-called Supply Chain Arena, an initiative of BLMC, Solventure and Supply Chain Media, visitors will receive a tailor-made programme focusing on all the different aspects of Supply Chain Management. In addition to knowledge sessions, master classes and stands, there will be Supply Chain Speed Consults. De Weerd: "Visitors who are struggling with a particular SCM problem can opt for a one-to-one, ten-minute conversation with the expert who best suits them."

ICT & Logistiek will take place on 7 and 8 November at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Register for the exhibition here.
