Every year, vLm awards a prize to the author of the best bachelor's and master's thesis with 'logistics' as the main topic. With this prize, the association hopes to encourage students and learning institutions to achieve top performance and thus reduce the gap between theory and practice.
The bachelor thesis focuses on added value for the organisation and solving practical problems. For master's theses, a clear contribution to science and innovation is of great importance.
This year, the jury was led by jury chairmen Stef Weijers (Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen) and Wout Dullaert (VU Amsterdam) and was able to choose from no fewer than 11 bachelor and 14 master theses this edition.
