In this series of videos, the finalists of Logistics Manager of the Year and Young Logistics Talent introduce themselves to the industry. What role do they fulfil within their organisation? And what is their feat in this election? This week: Joris Keizers, Group Operations Manager at Veco.
Keizers is responsible for the operation of two plants in the Netherlands and one in the UK at producer Veco. He was partly nominated for the title Logistics Manager of the Year by applying Process Mining, a technique rarely used in logistics. "Within logistics, we should always keep looking across borders for new techniques, also from other disciplines," he said.
Wondering who will be Logistic Manager of the Year 2017? Then come to Jaarbeurs Utrecht on 11 April. Register via the registration form.
