MediaMarkt has been struggling with a breakdown in its logistics process for ten days. The concern says it now has a picture of the causes. "We are catching up."

Complaints about delays at MediaMarkt have been raining on social media since last week. Consumers who ordered air conditioners or fans early last week did not receive their products. MediaMarkt attributes the delay to a technical glitch in the logistics process. The move to a new distribution centre in Etten-Leur was also said to have caused problems.

Ten days after the first complaints, it appears that the delays have still not been eliminated. Consumers are not informed about the status of their orders. Problems also occur when cancelling orders.

Spokesman Jeroen Baardemans tells the Telegraaf that the causes are now really in focus. "We are catching up with the backlog," Baardemans said. MediaMarkt expects the problems to be resolved by the end of this week, early next week.
